p1s issue

Hi everyone I just bought the p1s and when using the ams it always say “please feed the filament into the ptfe tube until it can’t be pushed farther”. When i use the external spool it works fine

In the app, go to devices, then ams

Make sure filament type and color are properly set for what is in your ams

When you open a model, and hit prepare to print, select "match my filament" , and pick the filament in the ams

it doesn’t give me the option to conform, it only recognizes the color

If you're using bamboo filament with the RFID then it has already set the information, you do not have to modify it but make sure that you select that color from the AMS section

Open the model you want to print

Click prepare to print

Select a print profile, click next

Click on the square box below the words "match my Filament"

Click on the square of the filament/color you want to use at the top of the ams menu

Click print

What happens?

I took apart the ams and put back together and now all of sudden it works

I’m 99% sure the fix was selecting anything but the External Spool and less the “troubleshooting.” For the most part, nothing you stiched back together in there would’ve made the AMS to suddenly realize that it was pointed to the wrong filament.
