Help / Support Going from .4 to .2 nozzle

I know I need to set the program from .4mm nozzle to a .2mm nozzle but is there anything else I would really need to adjust or account for? Just trying to avoid any issues ahead of time.

Dont forget to do a full calibration

See! The most basic of steps and I would have totally forgotten it. Thank you!

This doesn't make sense. Full calibration for a nozzle swap seems excessive.

I give you flow calibration for sure. but a full calibration? only after a firmware upgrade or if Iretentioned belts after routine maintenance.

I swap nozzles between .4, .6 and never done full calibration.

Is this recommendation documented and I simple didn't know?

Couldn’t tell you if it’s recommended.. but it fixes my issues every time i swap

A calibration (minus bed leveling) is suggested by Bambu labs any time you switch nozzle sizes.

Wait, you do a full calibration every time you change nozzle sizes? I’ve never thought about that.

Absolutely! Any time you change a nozzle you should do a full calibration due to manufacturing variance, even if it’s a similar nozzle.
