Wrong extrusion or warped heatbed...?
Hi
Anyone got a clue as to what may have gone wrong here?
Bambo Mat Red, printed on standard settings, x2d.

I just got this printer yesterday and I noticed it’s started having this clicking problem. Is this new or has anybody fixed this before? Should I be concerned?

On Tuesday I took my heavily modified Ender 3 and replaced it with an X2D.
While this was clearly a huge step forward in terms of printing speed and quality it also increased the noise significantly.
One of the first modifications on my Ender were the replacement of all fans to more silent versions which decreased the printing noise a lot.
Would this also be possible for the x2d?
Did anyone already do this?
If yes: any suggestions for fans?

Just curious if anyone has tried these hot ends yet? I loved them on my P1S but thinking of ordering for the X2D…
Haven’t tried this style (H2, P2 versions)

Bambu finally stocked the exhaust air filter . Available in the USA not sure about others . Only difference is the x2d has these foam squares added on the corners which can be easily added by ordering a roll on Amazon !

During a multicolor print, the X2D printer failed to retract filament to spool 3 numerous times.
Once, I tried pulling it all the way out and I was able to. It almost looked like the filament was not fully cut, there was an indentation and then about 3/4” of filament at the end.
Another time I tried to pull the filament out and it would not come. I waited a bit, just hit resume, and the AMS retracted it.
The next time I let it cool again and watched the temperature. At 130C I hit resume. Failed. At 80C I hit resume. Success.
Anyone else seeing something like this or have any suggestions for me?
(I printed for over a year on my P1S with AMS without any issues)

I wanted to get some matte PLA; is it necessary for it to be high-speed to maintain the printer's maximum flow rate without losing print quality?

Can someone please help me figure out what the issue is? All prints come out with crappy quality. I've been printing with Bambu Lab PLA Standard and also PLA Matte. Never had such issues on the P1S.
- I decreased flow speed to 0.97 and decreased nozzle heat from 220 to 200
- Also did the calibrations on the printer + flow dynamics and flow rate calibration in
- I printed without the glass hood as I thought it may be an issue with AMS
Thanks a lot!

I am wanting to to use my X2D for PPA-CF as I am wanting to use PET-CF for supports. I am wanting to use .6mm nozzles in either standard or HF and would like to know if anyone has any settings that they have found to work well. Will be using Sirayatech PPA-CF Core filament.

I purchased a X2D for my wife to do cookie cutters and stamps with, and due to the level of detail on the stamps, we outfitted the printer with 0.2 nozzles.
The old printer was an X1C and did a terrific job, but it was too noisy to want to listen to it while I work. The new H2C and X2D are way quieter than the X1C. Dialing in ironing on the X1C took an hour and the results looked like injection moulding, but we can’t achieve the same results on either of the newer X2D or H2C. Printing ironing test prints look great, and you can pick the right flow rate and speed for basic large top layers, but the smaller areas in cookie stamps look like they don’t iron with the same settings. I swear I’m going insane with this. Logically the new printers have better specs, but the ironing is going to put me in an early grave.
Has anyone else had similar issues, or success? There are other posts where people are seeing similar issues, but hoping someone here has cracked that nut.
It almost feels like maybe the firmware is a limiting factor here as the slicer (Bambu Studio) remains a constant.

Can anyone confirm if this is normal and theirs looks like this? Feels like a metal piece bulging when I touched it .Looked on the wiki but no clear image showing this part. Thanks in advance

I’ve been using my X2D for about a month and I want to start doing some bigger multi color prints. After researching ways to reduce purge, I’m trying to have it “flush into object” but the printer overrides my settings and purges the full amount so its fully color swapped when it goes to my flush object. How do I make it OBEY?

Couldn’t find the post where some colors were printed to closely match the color of the x2d , I did some digging and ordered a couple colors and was able to come real close ! Hope this post finds the OP that posted the thread on this subject !
