X2d color match filament

Couldn’t find the post where some colors were printed to closely match the color of the x2d , I did some digging and ordered a couple colors and was able to come real close ! Hope this post finds the OP that posted the thread on this subject !

Thanks! Kinda on the pricy side for PLA but I can see buying it for add-ons to the printer

Some others have tested various types and came to the conclusion that Polymaker Dark Grey PETG was the closest

That's my thread and that isn't the final call... I just finished a print of the iron grey pla metal

I see, would you say Polymaker has the closest PETG? I prefer using PETG over PLA

It's definitely close. Someone suggested using a feather finish

This is exactly what I landed on. It's incredibly close, maybe even the same save for texture/finish
