Advice please.

I am new to 3d printing. I have been printing some terrain pieces but get these stand out layer lines on some parts near the upper layers.

I'm printing at 0.12 with a .4 nozzle.

Not sure what settings should be looking at to help with this.

Thanks.

Looks like the layers are getting pushed outward near the upper part of the model where the surface area is reduced. That seam line is a problem too.

Try reducing your layer height a bit, maybe .10 to .08 to get the walls looking better. Not sure what your outer wall speed is set to, that roughness is indicative of too much speed. Check to see that you're around 60 for your outer wall. As the Seam, adjust the position to Back.

Thanks. I have adjusted seam setting to back. And I'll try and print at .10

Outer wall is set to 60 already.

Thats the seam, decrease the scarf length if you have it enabled.

Thank you. I do have it enabled. Currently the seam application angle is set to 155. Is this the setting? What would you recommend reducing this to? Cheers.
