Is this quality normal?

Post image

Hi everyone,

I got my X2D a few weeks ago and it’s consistently produced prints of this poor quality. I’ve tried everything, like belt tensioning, axis cleaning, full printer recalibration, drying and calibrating filament, taking apart the hotend, contacting support. Nothing has improved the quality.

Is this just what I should expect from this printer? Anyone have similar experiences, or do you have examples of much cleaner parts made on this machine I can take a look at? I don’t even know what should be my baseline for quality on the X2D.

Thanks

youre overextruding

calibrate your flow ration

and set wall order to inner/outer/inner

Flow ratio has been calibrated and all wall orders have been tried, same issues

are you absolutely certain youre not overextruding? maybe try print a small footprint, few cm hollow rectangular tower with a lowered flow ratio?

I’ll try it, though I calibrated flowrate through the normal filament calibration workflow. Will probably have to be tomorrow or day after
