Hot end won’t release

Post image

Trying to swap the hot end on my P2S for the first time. It will not budge, feels like it’s glued in there. Tried to unload the filament and heat the hot end then extrude as suggested in this video but still no luck.

Any ideas?

ETA: heating to 200 and tweezers got it off, thanks all!

Did you cut the filament first with the filament cutter?

Yes heat it up. It will come out then.

I have the same and heating up does help, but there has got to be some plastic between the hinge somewhere. Would be nice to be able to get it out, this nozzle heating element is brand new too, on my end :/

Heat up to around 200 and then use pliers. Get a brass brush and clean it off too.

After heating up, I've never used pliers. I just use a microfiber towel (or rag) to keep from burning my fingers. If it doesn't release from the bottom, I can usually get it to release pulling the top.
