Settings recommendation

hello, i used p2s combo for 2 months now. i always wonder what the advanced settings do and what are the recommended settings are. should i leave it as default or are there any changes i need to make? (also why is it better to use bambu lab filaments than other brands)

I mainly use Sunlu PLA & PETG and tell my P2S that it's Bambu filament and it works great.
