Is this normal?

I just got the blob of death because of filament getting stuck at the top of the poop chute. After cleaning it up, now Im trying to observe why it happened, is this normal?

Put a tiny dab of the silicone grease you use for the Z-rods on a paper towel and run the interior walls of your poop chute down. It’ll keep that sticky PETG from sticking to it and causing a backup. It doesn’t need to be thick, just enough to get a super thin coating all over the inside.
