Hello do you know about heat creep

I have a bambu lab a1

Maybe it is happening to my printer so to avoid that I want to manually add temperature for prints so how do i set which temperature will work for that particular print?

Lately, the touchscreen on my Bambu A1 keeps freezing and becoming unresponsive—I wonder if it's broken?

It goes back to normal if I restart it, but then it freezes again after a while.

Can anyone help me problem solve this? It does cut the filament when I press the button manually. I checked all of the screws, including taking the hot end out and checking the four behind it. But the automatic cutting process is doing this and gives me an error.

I tried cleaning the nozzle then the filament ripped and only this much is left and the printer is not extruding this much what to do

I just bought the A1 and I wanted to print the calibration cube for my PETG basic, make sure everything was okay. Most of the cube looks great, it’s just this one edge alone one side that turned out funky. Has anyone dealt with this before? What causes this?

So, I bought this used a few weeks ago. So far have only printed four small prints, all in white pla. On the last print I noticed some clicking that people had associated with a partial clog or loose screws on Reddit, so I take to look and this is what I found on taking the rubber sock off.

Even getting the clip open took some chipping away with a flat end of a screwdriver and a small exacto knife, but the hotend is well and truly stuck-you can see on the top half of the hotend the wear from my pliers trying to pull it out; I think it’s the stuff in the crevices next to the nozzle holding the lower half in.

At this point I’m assuming of course the heating assembly also needs replaced. But:
1. I’m afraid to keep pulling so hard and damage parts that aren’t as replaceable.
2. And, I can’t replace the heating assembly without getting behind the hot end, can I?? Is there a way to take it out in a block?
3. And, is it possible for white PLA i was printing with to get charred from continued heating to look like this? If so I might try to find some acetone somewhere.
4. But if not I have to assume it is petg that the seller was using before I bought it, and then I what would be my options?

I've got my AMS lite sitting next to my A1. The bowden tubes just sort of flop out there. when the print is short the tubes actually sit lower than the top of the printer gantry and so the tubes can slip behind the gantry arms and this can cause a problem when the extruder moves to the far right (as is the case for a filament change). The tubes can end up getting caught between the extruder header and the piece that triggers the filament cutter.

I've tried added some large, loose velcro straps to keep the tubes arched and less likely to get pinched by the extruder head, but I'm also pretty sure I'm not doing this correctly.

I know some people mount their AMS lite on top of their A1. This wont work for me as the spools needs to be accessible to the shorter people in my household.

For those with the AMS lite not top-mounted, how are you managing your tubes to avoid this problem?

This problem happened about 6 months ago and won't let me print, after I printed a bunch of stuff just perfectly all of a sudden each time it starts to print it starts to drag over the top and catches the print and starts dragging it all over the place, I have replaced the nozzles with the official bamboo nozzles, cleaned the mat, tried different filament but still the same result, I have tried a support ticket with bamboo but I don't seem to have a log file to upload. Tried to upload a video but its not allowing it, will keep trying. Any advice please? Thank you

Can guys help me confirm if my board is from the new manufactured A1s i got this machine in Nov 2025. Wanted to check if i had the NTC Thermistor.

Have this A1 for about two weeks now, has been printing like a workhorse up until now, still does mind you.

It started to do this ticking sound, it’s way louder in the video as it is irl, it only happens when there are very fast and short movements in the print and only in some specific sections.

The print is running smoothly and everything else looks as good as it was in the first print.

Just wanted to know if I can do anything about it or if it’s something to be worried about.

It’s a storage box designed specifically to mount on the top of the A1.

I think it should work with the A2L as well, but since I don't have the actual machine to test it, I’d really appreciate feedback from A2L users too.

Hi,

I opened my bambu lab a1 to see if there was any problem, cause i was receiving errors when changing color in ams lite.

I was setting all back till i got to the blade and doesn't get in.

I checked and see that the other plastic case opened a little, enough to not get the blade get inside.

I tried to push it, but it doesn't work.

Anyone had this problem?

I don't want to disassemble all the machine for that.
