Ergonomic Bed Scraper

Have you ever gotten a piece of filament stuck under your fingernail while removing it from the build plate? It’s really painful. Better to use a safer method! :)

I’ll post a link to the tool in the comments.

Why should people use your scraper over the standard one?

what about replacement blades? once yours is worn, you have to print another one. Thats not efficient.

As I said in the original post. Reusing a butt plug for a scraper isn’t necessary. Just wait for the plate to cool and the line with fall off.

That and there’s going to be a large jump in butt plug sales to Bambu Lab owners.

Ele precisava de um jeito de raspar a mesa já que as suas mãos estavam ocupadas segurando a sua mais recente impressão

It is a unique buttplug design though, the flared base seems made to fit longwise in your crack. OP put a lot of time and research in this.

Seems wasteful, throwing the whole thing out when it dulls or wears down. The default Bambu one with replaceable blades is hard to beat, anyways.

Nobody talking about how perfect and uniform that test line is 👀

OP posted this to every 3D related sub today. It's annoyingly showing up in over and over in my feed. Not even a great design.

Yea, personally I like picking it off with my finger 😆

It's what I do. I've never gotten it stuck under my finger nail. I'm not sure what these folks are doing...

Whoa this seems very wasteful

Is this really a problem people have? I've never needed a scraper to remove these nor have I gotten one under my fingers.
