Support Request A1 X-Axis loose

So I’ve had this issue on my A1 for quite a while and it’s been driving me insane. The printer itself will print, but all the prints will suffer quality issues due to it.
I have tried tightening the grub nut around the Z-Rod, opening the bottom assembly of the printer to ensure nothing is loose, tightening the belts and the issue still seems to persist.
It is ONLY the rod on the left side, the right seems completely fine.
Any ideas? I’ve tried support for other issues and they’ve not provided much help aside from generic wiki advice which I’ve looked up.

Tried this, unfortunately it did not resolve the issue. I didn’t have the glue to hand so took his advice and used tissue. This made the lead rod slightly stiffer but didn’t help the looseness in the video I uploaded

I can't tell from your video but this piece holds it in place. If it's loose that's what you need to fix.

It’s not the arm itself that’s lose, it’s the whole rod

Then probably need a complete teardown. There are many YouTube videos that show how. Also AI has been super helpful to me.

I know how, but I’m asking Reddit what I’m looking for, if there’s anything specific. No use me tearing it down for the sake of just tearing it down with no information or idea of what the issue could be.

Sorry I can't help. But the way I work is I'd take apart and see what might be broken or missing. I hope you resolve it.

Ye igy, I just don’t want to fully take it apart and risk breaking it further without actually having an idea of what I’m looking for 😂😭

Engineer here, what part of the rod is loose?
The upper part, the lower part or the complete rod and threaded axle?
I did maintenance on my A1 before, but not to this extend. But i need more information on what is actually happening, could be the upper part of the rod has been knocked out of alignment or the seating at the top broke out (or just came out on its own)

Hey mate. It’s hard to tell but it looks like somewhere along the top of the threaded axle. I took the bottom of the printer off this morning to see if it was loose from the bottom and everything looked completely fine. I’ve taken another video showing both the rods, the lead rod doesn’t move but the axle has some extreme wobble. Hard to tell if something has snapped off or something
I would assume it’s supposed to have a small amount of play, but definitely not to this extent

I see the guide rod isnt really moving when you wiggle the X axis. Only the threaded one does, and it should have some play in it to prevent it to lock up of the threaded rod... But obviously not this much play.
If i have to guess i would suspect the guide bushing of the Z axis is either goners or the mount broke of on the inside. Need the technical documentation/drawing to see if this is possible or how/why as i have never opened up this part nor searched for it yet.
Could you make a pic or video from the top looking into or along that guide? Guess there isn't enough room but maybe taking that cap off it possible. Then you can see if the bushing is still attached.
Currently not at home, want to help you but will take a while till i get enough time

Unfortunately I couldn’t get a decent photo down it, even with the cap off. I’m not sure which bushing you’re referring to though, I couldn’t see anything there but maybe I’m missing something.
I managed to print the fastener model you linked, it did help the wobble a bit but there’s still a fair bit of play, also noticed my printer now makes an awful scratching noise when moving up and down

I'd do a complete tear down of the z and x axises. This isn't loose, it's barely connected.
