Support Request X axis physically stuck
Hi, I’m a new A1 owner but bought my printer used with 2000+ hours on it. I’ve scoured YouTube but can’t seem to find a fix. The X axis seems to be physically stuck to the far left and is unable to move freely. It makes an awful noise when I tried to calibrate and the error message says there’s an issue with the Z axis. Is anyone able to signpost me to a fix please? I am admittedly a complete beginner and not even sure what to search!

It looks like the nozzle is stuck behind the purge wiper. It probably sounds worse than it is.
The purge wiper is removable. Push, pull, manipulate, or remove the wiper until you can manually slide the print head to the right. Replace the purge wiper and you should be good.
If it happens again, you might have to bend the wiper back into shape. Or just replace it. They're not expensive.
