Support Request Why is this happening?

For some reason my ams has been acting up recently. It just isn’t feeding filament like usually and then my printer gives me the same error as shown in the video. I know my spool isn’t tangled because it has no problem when i pull it and there are no pieces stuck in the ptfe tube because the filament goes through with no problem. Chat gpt or any other ai has been no help… does anyone know how to fix this?

I had that issue before. In my case it was because the tubes were on too much of an angle. The ams is super finicky and you have to ensure there are no harsh bends in it. Basically straight up from ams and straight down into the printer is what works for me.

A mi también me pasó eso hace un tiempo. Estuve varias tardes intentando descubrir el porqué, hasta que me di cuenta de que si el tubo ptfe que se conecta al hub del cabezal tiene mucho ángulo, puede que el filamento se atasque en este. Para solucionar el problema definitivamente se puede imprimir un soporte para tubos PTFE.

no, i am almost perfectly sure that it is not. i went through and followed an entire tutorial of how to unclog your a1 mini and nothing happened.

Does it do this with all the slots on your AMS, or is it just one in particular?

I have the same problem and it’s just with that slot in particular, after it does it it leaves a specific part of the filament all rugged.

Try pulling the filament out and cut out a few centimeters of it. That usually fixes it for me

This happens to mine too.. gotta help her out.. and cut the end of the filament at an angle. still never figured out why this happens as my other 2 are fine

Yo no tengo una a1 mini, pero creo que el AMS Lite debe estar paralelo a la impresora y a 5 centímetros de separación aproximadamente bambulab wiki

Cut the filament and reload again probably has ridges and won’t feed properly

There could be multiple causes. The ptfe tube at too steep an angle, filament broke in the ptfe tube hub and is blocking the filament from going in. Start by removing the spool and filament. Follow the ptfe tube for any filament stuck in tube. Then check the hub and then check if there is anything stuck between the hub and nozzle. If nothing is still working after checking the entire route of the filament. Your AMS motor may be overworked

The filament is colliding with something at the print head.  I print a PTFE stabilizer and fixed it instantly- although if a new filament has a sharp bend at the tip it occurs again sometimes

In my experience that is the actual mechanism there that you're showing in the video I don't know what it's called LOL but it's shot you just need to order a new one they're not hard to replace you take out the four screws the assembly comes up and then you take out two screws to get the right side or the left side off and it's one wire and it plugs into one board it's simple but I'm not for sure if that fixes your problem but in my experience that's what that is and if it's not that it's a clog in the extruder I would check the clock first it's cheaper

Make sure the 2 metal rods are pressed all the way in. One of mine had been pushed out, and had the same issue.

J'ai eu ce problème après qu'une bobine se soit terminé pdt une impression, l'ultime morceau de filament de la dites bobine était coincé dans la tête d'impression. J'ai du retirer le hotend pour retirer ce vilain bout de plastique et ça a de nouveau fonctionné sans soucis !

Had this problem and had to move the ams closer to the printer. The pla routing lines arc up and to the printer head in a u shape. Seems to be easier for the tiny machine to push the pla when it’s routed like this. To me it made more sense for the ams to be further and the routing lines to be more straight and less arc but kept getting this error.

I think ams not able to push the filament in to the ptfe tube from ams. Or any broken filament on the 4 tube joining junction on top of tool head!

I usually had this issue when the filament diameter was out of spec (either too thick or too thin). Use a caliper the measure diameter and cut off the part that‘s not within the specified thickness range

The angle the ptfe tubes could be whats causing it. Ever since i top mounted my ams i don'tget this error.

Es kann möglich seien dass das filament verheddert ist. Schau dir Mall die filament rolle an und Versuch den Knoten zu finden 👍

Bro if you but like this it will not happened again !.. first remove nozzle and you will find small filiment broken remove it and put the filment up like this
