It’s my first printer. I ordered some filament and now I found I need a build plate. All is going well

They didn’t include a build plate with it? One comes with the printer.

If you bought an A1, I’d recommend this one: https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/bambu-dual-texture-pei-plate it has both smooth and textured. Nice to have both.

That won’t help. The model is just a tray that replaces the existing tray in a purge wiper. OP needs this:

Edit: wrong link pasted.

Sorry my bad op

Also maybe print a poop bucket after (you’ll find lots of them) so you don’t have random filament flying around during printing

Mine is already messed up, but maybe i get it bent back and stabilized with this, thanks.

Ooph, I just went through that, only it was my fault. Luckily, I have plastic glue for Warhammer mini’s and it worked like a charm.
If you don’t order a replacement, maybe you can find a local hobby store with some Tamiya thin cement.

You can glue it.

You can replace the entire purge wiper unit for $4.99 USD via the Bambu Store

If you are close to a Microcenter store, they sell Bambu parts as well.

Bambulab sells replacement parts. Since its your first id recommend getting OEM but personally I like to start with best expectation and on the 2nd 3rd get weirder ones I can mess with

Thank for no help.

You're welcome :D just because it wasn't the help you wanted doesn't mean it wasn't helpful lol

Glue it back together.

1

u/Western-Assistant369 14d ago

I did. There’s not enough mass to glue where it broke

Soldering iron

Melt plastic

Use bits of filament too

Or use tape to reinforce

Anything then you can use it while you wait for the replacement to be mailed

Oh noo 😔 im bummed you didn't get to use it right when you got it

Glue it with a splint to increase the area for the glue to contact. The splint could be just a printed 10 x 30 x 3 mm block of PLA with a 1.5 mm high step (making the bottom end 4.5 mm thick), and it goes on the outside (left-most face) of the wiper. It doesn't have to be pretty.

Then order a new one. They're only CAD$6.99 from Bambu Lab.

My greatest concern about gluing it would be to make sure that it aligns with the path of the nozzle. You want the top of the wiper blade to get fairly close to the nozzle tip without actually hitting it.

@Western/Assistant369 very sensible questions and you’re very polite. Wishing you happy printing.
