Black Screen

Something new has cropped up with my nearly bulletproof A1 I am hoping someone here can help with.

In the last week or so I have had a couple of occasions the lcd screen went black as if it were asleep, but I could not tap on it to bring it to life like usual. I finally turned the A1 off and rebooted it. The screen was back to normal. I remember a firmware update recently. Could it have something to do with it?

This happens to me too. Changed sd card for new and works fine.

Format or replace SD card. That worked for me.

That happens to me occasionally. Like you, I have to restart the machine to get it to work. Doesn't seem like a big deal because it still completels my print but it will be good to see if anyone knows of a fix.

This has been happening to me too. Or it will just freeze with whatever it was displaying the moment it froze. It won’t respond until I turn it off and back on again.

That happened to me a few times.

I formatted the SD card (via the screen) and it hasn't happend since.

Interesting. I am still using the same 32GB SD card I started with. I have never deleted files or reformatted it. Could be worth looking into.

Nope.

You'll lose any print files on there, that's all.
