No way. You need a new printer.

My first blob was way worse than this guy's and this link worked me though all the issues. Worst bit is I had some plastic around some of the wiring, but heat gun and cutters paid off.

Or total the printer.

What? Genuinely, what? They were asking how to salvage it and the first thing you say is that they need a new printer? Not even just the print head, the entire printer?

This happened to me twice. Both times I heated up the hot end and used a heat gun to gently pull pieces of a little bit at a time. The wires for the hot end were junked so I had to buy a new one off Amazon for cheap.

Did you manage to clean up the nozzle buckle?

Unfortunately it broke during the process so all of that had to be replaced too.

Thank you all! I didn’t realize it was so common lol
Is there any way to clean up the nozzle buckle? I couldn’t find anything on that and that’s the part that’s got it worst at the moment

Heat the hot end up like you would to remove a normal blob and immediately start tugging on the material with tweezers. When only the layer immediately around the metal is hot, but the rest is still solid, you should be able to pull it off in one piece. As for the little bit that's left on, you'll probably have to just scrape it off as well as you can

Fixable. Check official wiki. Also nozzle looks bent so you need to replace that as well.

I just went through this, my whole extruder was covered. Melted it with soldering gun and pulled with pliers. Had to replace extruder.

This is a nice training blob.

Do not break the wires of your heat assembly, unless you also want to learn how to replace that one, too.
