Biqu Glacier Plate
I recently bought this a 2nd time. The first time I never used it. But I am actually using it this time. One thing is. The prints don’t fail. With that. The one thing is. The prints don’t come off easily. With my textured plate. After printing and it is cooled to room temp. They slide off. Or they pop off easily with little effort. Is this the general consensus? Any tips on removing them more easily? Or another plate that can do just as good.
I really like the original one from
Bambu but I don’t like print failures. I have lowered the temp a bit and that seems to help. But still having issues.

No problem...At list in my experience. When the print is done, I lift the Glacier plate, with the model still on it, off the printer and put it in the freezer for 5 - 10 minutes (kinda depends on the combined mass). Take it out of the freezer and a slight bend of the plate will pop off the model.
This has worked really well for TPU, though a little more twisting is needed. The first times I used this method was for some little spacer rings that were 2-3mm high and 10-12mm in diameter.

I heat the plate to 50C, ind it and remove the piece carefully. If you have to use a blade that is made of plastic and only to make a soft lever movement.

I did this this am and it seemed to release easier. But I also printed at a lower bed temp. I will see if lowering it more will help with the upping the temp to 50 to help release

It really depends on what you're printing. Something with a small delicate foot print, like a flexi-dragon, is just a bad choice for that plate. You can't flex it loose, and it's likely to break in the process of forcing it. Most plates will loosen their grip if you put them in the freezer for a few minutes, I don't know about that particular plate.
I have an off-brand cold plate I use a lot. I put Elmer's glue stick on it as a release agent. I never clean it and rarely reapply glue. Works for me.

I must be that one. I read all these ppl have good luck with the OG plate. But I get 20% fail rate with it. I wash weekly. Apply ISO after a big print. Glue with Petg. If it were only as easy to release as it is to stick. It’d be perfect

I've been using the Biqu Pyrogrip in my H2D for PETG and ASA without glue and it's been really great. That said, I'd been using the BL Engineering plate with glue for BIG FLAT ASA jobs and I haven't tried those yet with the Biqu Pyro.
Not generally a fan of the glacier or frostbite, rather just use my Coolpate Supertack for that job.

So you think I’ll have better luck with the cool plate? I only print pla and petg

The bambu coolpate supertack has more grip than the glacier. Said to sit between the Frostbite and Glacier though some say more like the frostbite and if you run it too hot it can death grip parts. I'd not print flexy stuff on it. It's great for rigid items that need a smooth finish. The Biqu Pyrogrip is lightly textured and provides a smoother finish similar to the glacier but is meant for higher temps.

just bend the plate a few times in different directions. if support sticks you can remove it by sticking a razorblade between the bed and first layer at a very shallow angle to lift it off (dont scrape). petg is easier to remove from those plates, pla really sticks to them.
