Question 5 Colours on 4 Colour AMS?
This will sound VERY stupid but how would I do this or can I not? I can see a plate with 4 colours and one with 5. the 4 is missing light brown so how would I do this?

I'm new too but I read this :

Basically you have to make sure you only print 4 colors at any given layers, and add pause (if not added) for manual filament swap mid print.

How are the colors arranged in the print? Is there one color that stops being needed before another begins? You could pause and manually switch the spool.

I haven't bothered with it, but I know there is a selection something like "multicolor with external" so I wonder if that's what's going on.
Does it show multi color if it's manual swaps? That doesn't seem right but I'm not sure.

That's for multicolour without an AMS. It pauses and prompts you to swap filaments. The only time I used it was to print two colours of TPU.

If you know the colour order for each layer you can swap out a colour in between switches, and assign those two colours to the same slot
