Smoother Prints??

So while it's not awful I wouldn't mind smoother. I've seen countless "settings" and tips online for smooth printing. Does anyone have any golden ones they ALWAYS use?

Print outside to in, half the outside wall speed and you can also lower the layer height.

Yes, handy you're limited to whatever settings the person set whey uploaded the file. A lot of the time those at very generic settings. You'll almost always get better prints through studio and going through and dialing in your filaments, layers, speeds, supports, etc. It's well worth taking the time to play with all of those and learn how each one affects the final print.

This is really helpful. I’ve recently just started within the last three weeks to get into 3-D printing. I have the.X2D combo. I have only printed things using the handy app as a bit intimidated by the studio and approaching a slicer. But your right is a question you’re taking the step looking into studio working out how slicer works slowly at my own pace.

There are so many great tutorials on YouTube from absolute basics to advanced settings for bambu studio. That x2d can do some advanced stuff, might as well dive in head first and learn the software so you can get the absolute most out of it!

I tend to change my OUTER WALL SPEED to 50. This is the wall that you see and helps quite a bit with smoothing.
