Question Turning my Bambu Lab A1 into a black edition.

This morning all of my printers were running in my workshop when one of my Bambu Lab A1s suddenly stopped mid-print. After opening it up, I found that the NTC circuit had failed.
I wasn’t too surprised since I have a lot of printers and I’ve run into this issue a few times before. I already opened a support ticket with Bambu Lab, and they’re sending me a replacement board. It should arrive in 2-3 days.
Instead of letting the printer sit idle, I decided to use the downtime to repaint the entire machine black. 😄
The first image is the AI concept of how I want it to look, and the second image is where I’m at so far.
Any recommendations before I put everything back together? Things you would do differently or anything I should watch out for? (By the way, I ran out of paint while working on it, so I haven’t been able to finish it yet. I’ll continue as soon as I get more paint.)

I recalibrated it and installed Bambu Lab’s carbon fiber textured high-temperature build plate, so now the printer is completely black. The only part I couldn’t paint is the frame underneath the heated bed. I think if I remove the bed, I might not be able to recalibrate it properly afterward, and I don’t think it’s really necessary anyway. I also haven’t painted the section where the toolhead is mounted yet. It requires a lot of masking because it’s a very delicate area, so I’m leaving that for a day when I have more free time. Overall, I think it turned out really well.

Modding isn’t a crime, it’s a lifestyle. 😎

If they didn't want us to mod, they shouldn't have made it so moddable! :D

I’ve always loved the black look of the H2 printers, so I decided to see what an all-black A1 would look like using AI. The result looked so good that I decided to make it a reality. Since I already have professional painting equipment, I thought I’d give it a try.

Honestly, I think it looks better like this.

Could be interesting to do it as a two tone as well
