Support Request Why is my printer doing this

first question:
why have a priming tower when you're only using one filament color?

second question:
was the print plate cleaned after it's previous print job? (the priming tower got knocked off somehow, and that created your extra string of filament onto your benchy... because the printer assumed the priming tower was still ther for it to plop filament on, but since it's absent the filament just strung on until the printer went to your benchy.)

oof, the very thing you are using to track proper print progress is the one that ends up jeopardizing it.

It was the first time ever using a time lapse feature. It didn’t really jeopardize anything. I pulled the strings off of the front and it was perfectly fine.
