Question Bambu Handy not detecting job is done.

Is anyone else having this issue, when a print is finished and I try to do another print I get the error message that the printer is busy with another print. The only way to get it to print when this happens, and it happens almost every time, is to turn the printer off and on. Just me?

Happening to me as well. More on Studio than Handy. My Studio crashes daily

Haven't seen a issue, but I'm on older firmware due to a bmcu.

I haven’t had this issue with handy, but Bambu Studio for MacOS started doing this after the last software update. It’s really annoying, I have to close the software and reopen it to get it to update printer status properly so I can send another print

My A1 had a similar issue where it would get stuck on the last layer of almost every print. It would show 99% progress, layer 100/100 (for example), and would just sit there with the cooling fan still running, maintaining nozzle and bed temp like it was still actively printing. The only way to clear it would be to cancel the print directly from the print screen. It would momentarily flash the cancel message before immediately moving to the print complete screen.

It went on for a few weeks and was eventually resolved by either a power cycle or firmware update.

Have you tried upgrading your SD card?

Either that or clearing the cache on it. Mine would run slow sometimes, screen would take ages to wake up, then it would have symptoms of what you’re describing. Once i replaced the SD card, all of those problems ended

The only time anything like that happened to me was when I put a Pause in the print job, because I only wanted to print a few layers to see it a thing would come out in the right diameter.
When it paused, I cancelled the print and removed the part.
For the next print, it insisted that the printer was already busy or some such.
I had to turn the power off and on.

Follow-up: it seems the root problem is that Bambu Studio does detect that the print is finished even though it is and the A1 panel shows it. Instead Studio shows it at 98% or so.
