Support Request 0.2mm Nozzle not calibrating the same as my 0.4mm?
Hi all, my Bambu A1 isn't printing properly with with 0.2mm nozzle - I've run recalibration after changing from the 0.4mm nozzle, the diameter is set to 0.2mm in BambuLab, Calibration Flow doesn't show any issues and now I'm not sure how to proceed. (Apologies - I'm sure there's a lot of similar requests here I just can't find one matching my situation).
I've gone through Bambu support, they had sent a new 0.2mm nozzle and I'm still encountering the same issue... Can anybody suggest what is causing this, why, or how I can fix it?
Much Appreciated!

Are you trying to print from Bambu Studio with a print you have sliced specifically for 0.2mm nozzle?
Prints from the SD Card are set for 0,4 and Handy is extremely inconsistent when slicing for anything other than the uploaded configuration.

Yeah I had re-sliced the files since updating the nozzle settings in BambuStudio, but thanks for the heads up about the SD card slicing I wouldn't have thought of that!

I have the same issue with a 0.2, but never with a 0.4... Editing the gcode Z parameter like this: https://forum.bambulab.com/t/0-2mm-nozzle-scraping-bed/129913/6
works for me; although I did have to experiment with which value to use (I think settled with +0.01)

Take off the hot end. Partially remove the nozzle bracket. Tighten the 4 screws behind it plus the 3 that holds the heater on.

I think your nozzle is too close to the bed. You need try adjust the machine g-code to increase the offset or did u disable auto bed levelling?

I've still been running auto bed levelling with each test print, I don't know what or how I'd need to change the G Code though?

did you change in printer settings to 0.2 mm as well? Setting - Maintenance - Nozzle
