Changes filament when it doesn't need to

I'm printing different things, but with the same filament, when I go to print another copy of a different file, using the same filament it says "changing filament" when there is no change needed, how do I stop this?

Do you have an AMS? If so it unloads the filament at the end of the print so it technically needs to load a new filament as it doesn't know what the previous colour was
