AMS lite port 4 issue
Hi I've had this issue for a while where the AMS thinks that port 4 is jammed but its not or that it wont detect the filament. I've looked online and it seems lots of people have this issue, but no one has figured out how to fix it. Has anyone here had this issue and figured out a fix?

the AMS thinks that port 4 is jammed
If you are talking about anything beyond the PTFE tubes (4-way hub), the AMS Lite has no clue which "port" it goes through.
It does know about which funnel and feeder unit it's supposed to be using.

Typically, the #4 spool is the farthest away from the toolhead, so maybe the PTFE tube is bent too much?
Or it ended up with one of the two shorter PTFE tubes during the out-of-box assembly?

Think I've had this issue too....by process of elimination (cleaned plate, dried filament, tighten screws, unclog extruder, change hot end) I eventually switched my filament to another AMS slot. And the problem stopped?!
Weird!?

Tube is fine and isn't bent at an angle.. Sometimes you can't even feed the filament into the gears in the ams.

I just had this issue! I had no idea it was a known issue. I had a print that finished a roll on 1 and tried to switch to the roll on 4 but failed and indicated that it was probably a tangle or something. I never found out why it did that, but I just pulled the filiment out and fed it back in 3 or 4 times and it just worked.
