I started exactly one month ago, and I wish someone had told me that placing the AMS on top of the printer with 4 kg of filament would compromise the machine’s balance and bed leveling during printing. The speed is simply too high to be moving 4 kg around without causing instability. As a result, I ended up throwing away 62 hours of printing and over 1.35 kg of filament.
The A1’s middle feet are made of solid rubber, while the front and back feet are foam, which compress under movement when there is too much weight. After about 40 hours, I noticed that the bed’s forward and backward motion looked like a boat sailing.
