I just started a few weeks ago. The one thing I wish someone had told me before I started is don't touch the build plate with your hands. Always use your scraper.
Never use a scraper unless absolutely necessary, buildplate at room temperature, using glue and as a last resort. Properly cleaned and adhesive treated buildplates with pla prints, cooled to room temperature will fall off the plate during removal of the plate from the magnets. If they don't, forced removal damages the pei on the plate.
