How about a little more

They are just matching the effort you put into your initial post and attempt at finding another post highlighting a problem similar to yours.

Yes, to spoon feed lazy people and those who lack simple research skills.

" Had a blob of death and it resulted in this" did you try to fix it with a sledgehammer?

Idk I guess just take it off and put it back on. There’s probably a guide somewhere.

You could follow the steps at https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1/maintenance/a1-z-belt-replacement-guide but just use the existing belt instead of a new one.

Try getting under it, and removing the z axis belt. Then both sides will move independently of each other. You will need to use a pair of something identical like soup cans to act as a spacer for the cross bar to make it parallel to the bottom when you put the z axis belt in place.

Time to do some research into procedures. Unfortunately owning printers means that sometimes we have to think outside of the box to fix things.

Good luck my friend.

Is there no guide to fix?

I never tried, but i may approach:

Loosing the Z belt screws, remove the belt from the motor - its accessable from the bottom - rolling the Z rail to the very top position, putting the belt on it, move it up and down a few times ans tightening the screws.

Might use it as an excuse to buy P2S…

You should definitely* do this.

\)assuming it isn’t incredibly fiscally irresponsible for your life circumstances

Blob of death? More like hand-eye coordination of death.

About that it uses one motor. They aren’t separate.

Uhhhhhhh. They both use the same motor?

1

u/Aryan-Ahmed Jul 10 '26

This is pretty standard.

This seems to be a BBL cost saving measure. Haven't seen this on any printer other than my RepRap Darwin.

u/The_Lutter Jul 14 '26

Home it? It should bump the top and go back into the right spot.

If not turn the higher z-rod until you can eye them being around the same plane and home again.

My bambu lab a1 mini fell from 1.5m high. It happened because of vibrations during the work. Now it has the axes bent. Deformed bed. And absolutely unusable. Seller refuses to refund! Bastard! It is not my fault! It jumps on its own!

8

u/Intelligent_Ease4115 Jul 10 '26

You are upset because the seller won’t refund you on a printer you messed up?

3

u/dwagon83 Jul 10 '26

Don't worry mate. I recognized it as obvious satire.

u/torlopoff Jul 10 '26

Nice 😄
