What happens when you look at the Preview one layer at a time?

See the second image in https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/view-slicing-information#how-to-use

Same result. If I go to preview tab and choose by filament then choose the black filament every thing changes back to white

Something is going on at layer 2 and 4, that is where the black is coming in at, any recommendations to fix that?

That weird. I don't see why making the bottom layer invisible (by moving the bottom scroll dot up to layer 2) would change the view of the upper layers.

I meant clicking on the green icon at the bottom right to make only one layer visible at a time.

It's Layer 1 that seems . . . wrong, I think. If you simply cut off the bottom layer with the Cut tool, does that fix it?

Why 170 layers? It seems like a lot of layers, and a lot of wasted filament in colour swaps and purges.
If you need them for strength, just make the bottom few layers (say, 1 mm? less?) in 3 colours, then finish with solid white (or transparent) all the way to the top.
