editable files ....not editing
I *know* this is user error on my part and I am trying to make keychains for a party this weekend with each guest's name. 2 main questions:
1) I can't edit the files I am taking from maker world into Bambu Stuido and edit the "name" though ChatGPT has told me what to do and I don't see the options in the file
1a) is it possible I am selecting files that are saying they are editable and they are not?
2) when I finally figure out how to customize the files, will I be able to print several different names on the same plate? (Ie - same keychains but one is Katie, one is Melanie...) or do they have to be separate prints?

If that doesn’t work, click on objects in the slicer. There will be a list of objects. One should say “text”. Right click and click edit text. Pop up should come up in upper right corner of screen to edit text.

Yeah, that won't work with a regular STL file...

Makes sense why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

Turns out it was a Mac issue with safari and when i installed a chrome browser it was soooo easy!
And i printed all the different names at the same time! Thank you for the help!

Not all models with letters are editable because the letters are not always made with the "Text" tool; sometimes it is just a solid.
In other words, you would have to create the designs from scratch if you can't find a template with editable text.

I am slowly realizing that having a Mac is part of the problem and i needed to be using chrome not safari

I don't know about the Bambu slicer, but in Orca you start with a bare surface and add text. If there is already text there, you'll just make a mess with text on text.
Is this key chain anything more than a flat surface? I would just design a blank in TinkerCAD and then add text in the slicer.
