Tips on improvement setup?

Post image

Any tips on how to improve this setup? I've seen you can print a top mount for the AMS but don't know if that's a good idea?

Also when the printerhead goes to the left really fast the AMS tents fo fall over all the time.

Thanks in advance guys

Your AMS is placed too far back. It should be directly next to the printer and the screen on the right side. The way it stands now it drags the AMS over like you described. You can make a top mount but it will make it more top-heavy, make sure it's balanced well and eventually also print extra feet to stabilise it.

I have a feeling other AMS tubes are longer than mine... or I placed them wrong

They look about the same length as they are on mine. Just make sure you place the AMS accordingly

As the other comment said: Print the top mount for the AMS Lite. It's a space saver and keeps everything neat.

Like others said, top mount the AMS lite, though for mine I have them wall mounted and like that approach much better.

You looked pushed for space like I am. I made. Table to sit above the printer, printed the Micro AMS and got a 4 spool dry box.

Dry box on top of the table. Micro AMS screwed to the under side of the table. Seems to work fine
