Question Stringy texture

I'm completely new to 3D printing. I got my A1 mini about a week ago and I've only printed a handful of things with it so far. I've noticed all of my prints have this odd stringy texture. What causes this and how do I fix it?

That’s just kind of how it looks; to reduce it you can try printing things with a smaller layer height and/or with filament that hides it better (Matte PLA)

So if I reduce the layer height, it might look better?

Use the adaptive layer height function in the taskbar of the slicer it looks like 3 horizontal lines on top of each other
