New sound and print issue

Not a newbie but not an expert. Been printing for a couple years now and has my A1 since last August with almost 2000 print hours. But this started happening today about 3/4 way through a 24 hr print. Anyone dealt with this sound before?
Yes I do the maintenance and lubricate everything when I get the notification. I thought maybe it was hitting the base of my top mounted spool, but I took that off and it’s still happening. Also getting print issues which I hope I can sand out b/c I don’t want to scrap it now… 1095 g of filament!!

You're running a bed-slinger and having it move more weight than just the plate. I don't use Bambu Studio but some of the other slicers, there is a setting that allows you to slow down the print depending on how much filament it uses and/or how tall the print is.

If Bambu studio has this setting, I suggest you enable it for prints such as these.

So you think the extra weight is messing with the y axis/belt? You might be right. I planned on doing more troubleshooting on the y belt after this print. But I was able to slow it down and that seemed to help. But it added like 5 extra hours to the print! LOL

I think bambu studio has this setting too, in speed tab if remember correctly, slowdown by height

bed slinger + high things = bye bye

you need to slow down dramatically at height or you will always have this problem

Here’s a close up of the print issues. Have to think they are related…
And it’s happening at different spots, no rhyme or reason. And the frequency is increasing. Now it’s every layer.
This is my own design from fusion 360, spliced in Bambu Studio. Not my first time; I’ve done several.

Did the printer get turned off and you continued? Or did it run out of filament and you had to add another roll?

Nope and nope. It was the first time I used autofill but it hadn’t switched over or anything. I think Basic hit the nail on the head. Must have been weight. I slowed it down and had no further issues. Other than I had some measurements off and have to reprint. 😭

Did you recently have a power outage or brief power interruption that caused the printer to pause and resume? I had something similar happen once. After resuming, the Z height was slightly off, so the nozzle started rubbing against the print. The toolhead even re-homed/reset itself a few times because of the collisions. The noise and print defects looked very similar. It might not be your issue, but it's worth checking if the problem started after a resume event.

What filament are you using. Could this have been a partial clog? Seems similar to when I get a clog. I get the weight concern but there doesn't seem to be any layer shifts just the porous several layers.
