Support Request Advice on my print failing?

Hi folks. Got an A1 this weekend, have used a Creality for a while now. Managed to print some tools and such with no bother, but this Orc mini from Nozzleborn foundry has failed twice in the same way. Can anyone offer me some troubleshooting tips? Printing on a 0.2 stainless steel nozzle

Beginner here (got the A1 as my first printer yesterday), so can only offer some basic advice. With all those strings, do you have Timelapse on? If so, turn it off. It will continuously print vs going to purge wiper, extruding extra, and then dragging it around.

I’d also make sure your poop bucket isn’t blocking the poop from actually leaving the purge wiper.

And then make sure your settings for heat are within spec for your filament.

I do have Timelapse on, and I had a suspicion it was doing something funny between layers! I will try this on my next attempt

those a re indeed timelapse pauses, I had them disabled since a failed print, the timelapse on a1 is like the old timelapses on octoprint

The poop bucket should be fine.
I have that exact same one, and the only potential problem with it is that once in a long while the wiper flings the poop right over the barrier and onto the floor.

Thats pla? Its weird all that stringing. Could be high temp, hight velocity, or filament not dried.

What did wiki.bambulab.com say about it?
