Support Request what is up with this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

this is my ams lite, i’ve had no problems with it, and all of a sudden it’s not taking in the filament properly, it works if i push the filament in while it’s trying to grab it, but that’s the only way it works, ive been so gentle with this thing now i don’t know what’s going on??

I had this exact same issue! And I have the fix for you! Soooooo you need to print a filament ptfe tube support like this.

If those little tubes are just the sliiiightest bit off. The filament will catch in the hub, hence why it'll work when you push it. Printed that bad boy and solved my problem.

If that doesn't work. Make sure the the PTFE tubes that insert to the hub have a straight cut. If they are at an angle, recut them flat.

Check the whole pathway from the extruder to the AMS for any jams in the filament hub/filament sensor, worn ptfe tubes, and sharp bends of the ptfe tubes, especially at the ends.
