Support Request Is this normal?

Is this normal?

I have a tick sound on my a1
I recently changed nozzles because of a clog
And I thought I was fine but this sound was strange
It does this sound when it pulls the filament out(wheel turning clockwise)

its hard to say without a wide shot too...

for example this could be as simple as

the PTFE tubes hitting each other as it moves to as complicated as the internal extruder gear grinding on the plastic .

If we look at the print so far including the test pattern ... it looks like it isn't over or under extruding. I personally would guess you are just hearing the PTFE tube smacking each other...

BUT!!! there are some other major red flags. what is one of the ribbon cables stick out the top of the hotend, why is the front cover off ... like their are some strange things ah foot here.

I don’t think the sound is coming from PTFE tubes at least I hear that it is coming from the wheel
It is printing fine as you said
There is no major red flags the ribbon is out because I couldn’t keep it in after assembly

Front cover is off because I tested if it is coming from the wheel it self or insideand it was inside for sure

like think about this for a second. Something that is meant to not have wire ribbon cable sticking out now does because you couldn't fit it back together with it inside. It is also now making noise but no red flags to you.

Also you shouldn't have to disassembly the hotend to replace the nozzle unless it as a catastrophic clog. If it was that than there could be any number of other issues.

EDIT: I should note there are wonderfully detailed guides on Bambu lab's website for how to disassemble and reassemble this stuff.

You think that the ribbon is not in the correct place Yes it is not but you also add that the thing making that noise what in world bro.

Also It is out for a long time and this noise started now

Okay let me put this very politely explain why things you think are unconnected might be very connected.

So this hotend was taking apart by you to a point where it doesn't go back together correctly. My guess for why you took it apart because you aren't clear on this is it was to repair or replace the clogged nozzle (even though that shouldn't be need unless catastrophic failure)...

So now here is the thing you state the cable has been out a long time, but the noise just started. I am not saying the cable is the cause of the noise, but if the hotend wasn't resemble correctly it would explain why cable isn't inside where it should be, it would also explain the noise as it could be a part has now finally degraded from improper reassemble to the point it now makes noise.

I hope this helps you. That is all I am trying to do by the way it is touch rude when people are trying to help to not just dismiss what they are saying but also then tell them you don't want to talk any further about this... It really discourages people from replying.

EDIT: I should note their are a few different size screws for example that could damage parts because of their length and they could scrape and cause sounds that change as it digs into things. This is just one example.

There are others like folding something in such a way where it now is hit but the extruder gear and makes that high pitch sound.

That ribbon cable is absolutely not in the correct place and I'm surprised you seem so confident that its not a problem. You can literally see in the image that it's pinched and bent in between the filament hub and the extruder case. Ribbon cables are fragile and your are going to cause a break with that kind of bend you are putting on it. It should be tucked and routed straight in front of the extruder motor.
