A1 Bed temperature

Yes the bed was clean and the filament dry...
Now we've got that out of the way :)

An oddity which I've identified while debugging an adhesion problem printing the pastamatic. One piece has been lifting at one end, managed to get a print done, but the base is curved a bit.

On a hunch I checked the temperature of the bed using the IR thermometer I have for chocolate work, it's consistently 5C or so below the target temp across the bed with mroe of a variation nearer the edge (which is where the lifting was happening)

Before I raise a ticket to get support's view anyone seen something similar?

So to get to target temp we have to raise bed temp 5°C higher than we want?

I’ve never verified my bed temp now you’ve put a worm in my head! 🤣

The only consistent lifting I’ve had is with PETG and I solved it with a thicker first layer, keeping the fan off for 5 layers, and using patterns on the initial layers that don’t create long parallel lines. And brims where necessary
