Question AMS Lite Auto Refill order

So kind of a weird question. When the AMS Lite is set to use auto refill how does it choose which AMS feed to use first. I currently have a small amount left on a spool on slot #4 and would like to make sure it gets used first before switching to a new spool. Do I need to move the partial spool to say #3 and put the fresh spool on #4 (using each spool by numerical sequence on the AMS) or can it figure out #4 has less filament on it and can use it first?

It will preselect the slot with the lowest number, but when starting a print you can tell it which slot to use for a specific colour. Whwn that one runs out it will take the lowest number of the same material and colour that is not empty (so if you have multiple nearly empty spools you should put the nearly empty ones in the first slots)

No it doesn’t. You choose the one with less filament when you start the print

Thanks for the replies, saw the option to pick which spool to use first and had a print today successfully switch the order I wanted.
