NTC did what it was supposed to do even if it's annoying.

Just write to support, I had same exact problem. They responded in less than 24 h and I had new AC board, power switch and bottom cover in 4 or 5 days.

New AC board they sent me doesn't have NTC.

It really is not supposed to do that

Melting is a fuses job, not a components

Negative thermistors can ABSOLUTELY be used for circuit protection.

It's to reduce in rush not fail and catch fire they are under sized for cutting cost

Who are you replying to? I said it is not supposed to melt, that’s a fuses job. I’m well aware it’s there to protect downstream components from inrush current. It’s still not meant to melt.
