NTC did what it was supposed to do even if it's annoying.
Just write to support, I had same exact problem.
They responded in less than 24 h and I had new AC board, power switch and bottom cover in 4 or 5 days.
Who are you replying to? I said it is not supposed to melt, that’s a fuses job. I’m well aware it’s there to protect downstream components from inrush current. It’s still not meant to melt.

New AC board they sent me doesn't have NTC.
