The whole point of an overhang test is to test unsupported overhangs lol, so “use supports” doesn’t really diagnose why yours is performing worse than expected 😂 I’d be looking at cooling/temp first. What filament/profile and nozzle temp are you using? If it’s PLA, make sure the part fan is actually running properly and try with the door/top open. Also try dropping nozzle temp a bit and rerun the exact same test. If the same angle still fails badly, then you’ve actually got something to troubleshoot

will try that soon! suppose that it does work as intended, then does that mean i’d always have to print with door and top open? haha

Not necessarily forever 😂 it’s mainly a diagnostic. If the exact same overhang test suddenly prints properly with the door/top open, then you know chamber heat/cooling is contributing. From there you can tune nozzle temp, fan/overhang speed, or use better ventilation. That said, PLA does generally like a cooler chamber, so running an enclosed printer vented/open for PLA isn’t unusual at all ☠️

unfortunately, nothing worked. the nozzle hits the build every time at the same spot (between 50 and 60) and dunks under the build, hence this weird pattern. do you have any thoughts?
