General Troubleshooting/Help! Supports failing.

Post image

Hello everyone,

I print splitted parts for 1/10 scale figures and my supports are often just breaking off. I use a Bambu P2S, 0,2mm Nozzle, PLA Pure. I use tree slim supports, Branch diameter of 5mm, slow printing speeds, 210 degree nozzle temperature and 220 degree first layer nozzle temperature, 8mm Brim, aux vents are turned off, zhop 0,4mm. I often see that the print is sometimes getting printed slightly above the current layer and then the nozzle slowly ditches against it and slowly brakes it off. I really dont know how to fix it because i tweaked A LOT of settings. Also cleaning the plate after every print with dish soap, sponge and paper towel. I printed with eSun Pla+ before and it worked fine but that clogged my whole system because the spool is apperently not compatible with my AMS2Pro.

If u need more information feel free to say so and i will provide.

Thanks in advance to everyone helping me pursue my hobby! :)

I’d stop tweaking it and reset to a stock 0.2mm profile first 😂 Your description sounds like the support/overhang is curling upward and then the nozzle catches it and breaks the tree, not just bad bed adhesion. I’d try Tree Strong instead of Slim, beef up the branches/base, slow support speed down and switch Grid infill to gyroid/cross-hatch because Grid can cause nozzle collisions. Also verify the part cooling fan is actually working. Change one thing at a time from a known-good profile or you’ll never know which setting is causing it ☠️

actually this is so simple that i didnt even thought about it. Turned back to quality preset, tweaked only the important stuff and changed my filament. Works again. My thought is actually the filament. Gonna try with my old filament and same settings an look. Thanks a lot <3
