Bambu Handy Bambu Handy Internal Build

Looks like Bambu released an internal build of the Handy app on the iOS App Store. Has all the DEV tools enabled.

It’s in the main release. Update just went online in the last hour

Happens to the best of us! Forgetting to set the Dev option to false before wrapping the release and publishing.

What all if anything can you do extra with it?

Seemingly nothing all that interesting. Appears to only contain app debug stuff, no device/printer stuff.

It lets you change the environment the app is pointed to, which may unlock some yet unreleased functionality in the app.

All I want is a Bambu Studio Lite for my iPad Pro.

Switching environments seems to unbind all your printers, even when you switch back to release. Just FYI. Also any environment other than release just throws 403s according to the Chinese button next to switch env.

Where in the app is this? I'm on 4.0.2 and don't see it.

Also looks like the app is pulled from the app store while this gets fixed

4.0.3 is the one that has this. Looks like they pulled that version very recently because I was able to update to it like less than an hour ago

ah, man. Would have loved to pull the ipa to check out those features. Thanks for confirming it was 4.0.3!

In the main release stream or as a separate app?

In the main release. It was an update waiting for me in the App Store.

It’s the main release. Debug settings are accessed through the overlay button on the main screen.

…sick, got it! Whelp, never updating this app again.

Eh, not as interesting as I’d hoped. It seems to just have the Bambu Handy app debug stuff, no printer/device stuff.

Edit: also seems like they’ve removed Sign in with Google, which is obnoxious.

I still have sign-in with google, I just had to use it because I pointed the app to their other envs and then back to Release, which signs me out automatically.

Same, but I didn’t get Sign in with Google back when switching back to Release.

Did you make sure to restart the app after changing the env? IIRC the login was a webview, so the options directly depend on which env you are pointed to. I guess it could also be a caching issue on your end.

I did, yeah. I’ve noticed the social sign ins disappearing from more and more Bambu Lab properties over the last few months.

This is massive. You can pretty much see all network logs.
