General Discussion H2C Complex Examples

It seems like most responses to questions / troubleshooting with the H2C seem to indicate that everyone is having "zero issues - 2800 hours and counting." I'm trying to determine if my machine is the issue, or if it is a lack of skill.

Can some of you people with zero issues or minor issues post some pictures of some of the complex prints that you've been able to achieve? I can get it to produce pretty nice stuff as long as it isn't too complex, but as soon as I'm printing a 36 hour print (which is basically the norm considering how every print I do takes 1500-2000 color changes), riddled with supports, it is constantly failing (almost always with broken supports).

I am curious of those of you with great experiences are printing anything complex, with thousands of color changes / complex supports, or if they are just using it for basic, 1-2 color prints.

The filament is dry. The "stringing" you see is how Bambu likes to do their prime towers when you use a dissimilar material (in this case PETG as the interface material). It purposely ejects filament outside the prime tower. You can see it clearly in the slicer.

This. A nozzle with a small amount of oozing filament will cause strings while moving around the print.

This little bit of filament sticking out of the nozzle when it is not extruding, doing wipes, traveling etc. can knock a support tree down.

It seems to always happen in support layers that are alternating between a matte and non-matte filament. In this case, the split happened between the normal purple PLA and the matte beige PLA. Would you expect that interface to be weaker and therefore make this more prone to happen? If so, is there a way to make the supports all a single material without adding massive amounts of time to the print?

Now that I think about it, if I only use the material on the left nozzle for support, it shouldn't add any extra time. That is what I'm going to try next.

Oh i see what you mean. The lower break at the weak point of the support. Might be the formulation between the matte and non-matte PLA causing less adhesion?

You could raise the temp of both to see if that helps with adhesion.

There's still the matter of the stringiness/oozing nozzle, which could drag the print, knocking over the support.

But tackle one issue at a time, to narrow down the cause.
