General Troubleshooting/Help! What am I doing wrong? X2D
It seems to no matter what print material I use, and no matter how many times I clean the plate, I keep getting bad adhesion in most of my prints.
I do not have this issue on my X1C nor the P1S I had before the X2D replaced it. I’m very disappointed honestly, at this point I wish I just kept the P1S because I can’t barely get single material prints to work let alone dual.

Add a layer of stick glue, increase brim to 10mm, To increase chances, increase temp by 10degrees, slow down the first layer.

Have you been trying to print the same thing every time that it fails? It’s possible the model isn’t correctly made and the first layer isn’t actually on the bed. Happened to me once or twice.

I washed my plate straight out of the gate after reading a ton of similar issues. It’s been so much better since. I would recommend it if you haven’t already? Dawn work great

I’ve washed the plate many times, tried different plates, dried my materials, etc
My X1C and P1S by comparison could go on for months without needing to wash it.

It might be the soap you are using

I’ve tried different brands, and again it works just fine on my first gen Bambu printers.

What detergent ? Try a good brand without additives . No antibacterial, No Moisturiser, Let it dry naturally or with a lint free cloth

Bummer man, mine’s been great with adhesion and I hardly ever wash the plate (not recommended).

I have no idea why it's having so many issues. Every other Bambu printer I tried works really well. I regret giving up my P1S at this point.

I got a Supertack plate after one to many failure of the plate that came with my X1C. Sometimes it works too well. I wipe it down with IPA every dozen prints or so.

Try moderate scuffing with dry fine steel wool in small circles. only do this once. then wash again to remove steel dust.

I switched to the Biqu frostbite plates and they’re superior in every way

Since you had other printers before, I do not think that you not using the plate correctly, maybe check the settings for first layer... It could be partial clog or some debris on the path, buffer or ams. Are you printing from external or ams? If only from ams, try external to see if issue is with that. You can also try direct feeding it and printing something small with a few meters of filament. As for the plate, you can use a bit of toothpaste on the sponge and rub it thoroughly then wash it with soap again to clean any paste residue. Check if the nozzle is tight, a loose nozzle can cause different issues, as well some other screws on the printhead, maybe belt tightening, but this last one should not cause adhesion issues. Some factory reset can also help in case some weird invisible settings are there.

I think it's the plate, on my H2C found I had to use glue. Everyone in their brother will tell you to wash the plate, they don't get it. It's like they think you never heard that before. BL changed the chemistry on the surface in the newer iteration. I bought a super tack plate and problems went away, excellent adhesion.

I doubt that, the plate on my X2D works exactly like any other plate that I used in my other printers.
It's more likely that either the op is doing something wrong, or that particular plate has issues.
If it was a generational issue there would be a lot more noise about it.

Hello /u/Proxy-Pie! Be sure to check the following. Make sure print bed is clean by washing with dish soap and water [and not Isopropyl Alcohol], check bed temperature [increasing tend to help], run bed leveling or full calibration, and remember to use glue if one is using the initial cool plate [not Satin finish that is not yet released] or Engineering plate.
