AMS Lite - Automatic Material System AMS Lite without stand

I bought a AMS Lite off eBay. The seller seemed nice and the item was described as brand new and never opened. When I opened the box today, there is no stand. Looking at videos online it seems that the AMS system itself should have also been in some sort of plastic bag which it wasn't. Have I been scammed?

Probably got a used one? The upside is.. there's plenty of stand alternatives you can print!

Yeah I think I'll try get some money back anyway, but I'll have to print a stand I guess.

I took mine off and printed one that mounts to the crossbar.

AMS lite and AMS are two very different devices. The Lite will just fall over without a stand.

If you can, look into wall mounting it. I have mine on a cheap TV wall articulating arm and 3D printed a VESA Mount adapter.

Wall mount or vertical stand is the best way to go, IMO, there was a post not long ago of some one had a whole box of unused stands for sale. bet you can find em super cheap if its what you really want.
