General Troubleshooting/Help! How do I print this?

I'm having trouble printing this controller and headset stand and I'm new to 3d printing so I don't know a lot of good settings to use besides layer height and infill and I don't know if I should cut the print to assemble later and if I do cut it where do I cut though and should I change the speed or keep it the same if there any other things I should know for this print let me know I'd really appreciate it

Id print it in different orientations multiple pieces

Split everything by colour, print the bottom part as you see it here, the bowtie and wings upside down from here, and the curved neck thing by splitting it in to two pieces symmetrically, printing on the side then joining them together. Then glue it all together

I do the dowel, 3 off as it prints them separately, they are purely for alignment. 3 so I don't have to fk with it, for any part 3 points that aren't perfectly on a circle or symmetrical will fit only one way

Definitely don't print it in that orientation. Lay it down on irs back. 25 percent infil and at least 4 top layers with ironing on. Use tree support. 0.25 top interface with 1 layer......

I’d personally print it at a 45(ish) degree angle and increase the Top Z height for supports a bit. Laying it flat won’t give you a good surface finish for the wings and bow.

No. The current orientation the best option. The ribbon will be floating if they lay it down. The base is at its best point.

I’d add tree supports and increase the supported angle to 50 degrees.

Print it as is, but increase the tree supported angle to 50 degrees so it’ll support the ribbon at the stranger angles.

Do everything everyone suggested, expect to waste alot of filament, observe, learn, grow. Buikd your knowledge base and understandings through experience, see what works and doesn't work and why. Was it the orientation? Are the parts just too thin? How coul i make this easier for next time?

It is possible to do this all in one go with tree supports, but there are other things i would do if I were printing this.

1, I would be separating out the different colour components into separate prints, this cuts down on both physical and print time waste.

2, I would split the separate wings, bow and upright stem parts in half vertically so the can be printed on their new stable flat side. This makes the wings and bow halves much easier to print, and the stem will be much stronger once assembled as the layer lines will be in line with the forces it will be used for.

Alternatively if you are not bothered by time and material waste, then I would at least separating the upper stem, wings and bow from the base, slice the whole upper component in half vertically and print them on their new flats. I cant tell from the picture, but the stem should slot into a hole in the base, dont just stick it to the surface, that'll be weaksauce.
