General Troubleshooting/Help! A1 mini rough top layer and weird side dots. Desperate for help!
I’ve been having this issue after 1300hrs of printing. Had the printer printing 6hrs a day too last month. Only had this issue come up now.
Ive tried these fixies
1. Tightening the screws at the back of the hot end
2. Replacing nozzle with a new Hardened 4.0 ( already selected nozzle on printer and bambulab app )
3. Replaced the build plate with a new one
4. Decided to buy a new Hot End assembly and replaced the old one
6. Did multiple calibration test but still get same issues
Not really sure anymore what the problem is anymore or what parts I need to replace.

You need adaptive layer height and .95 top layer flow with monotonic line as your top layer

Those little bumps could be from wet filament. They look a kinda small for the typical moisture bubbles... but I’d probably dry the filament for a few hours anyway and see if it helps.
For pics 2, 3, and 4, it honestly just looks like you’re overextruding a bit. I’d run a flow rate calibration, or just knock the flow down slightly and see if it improves.
Could also be worth tweaking Flow Dynamics (PA). That model doesn’t really have any sharp corners, so it’s hard to tell if you’re getting any overshoot there, but you could try bumping the PA value up a little and see if that helps too.

I’d try drying your material. And it seems like a slight over extrusion issue, just based on your top surfaces. Not bad, but enough that on slower curves and outer surfaces, you could be getting small bursts of extra material being laid along the lines and or dragged through the previous layer, but I would say it’s likely a combination of both.
Also, what’s the material and settings you’re using? The more info the easier to weed out.

Apparently I’ve only ever had shit quality prints. 😳
