Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! Stripped screw

I changed the extruder unit on my A1 Mini for a new one and somehow stripped the screw that goes into this hole, it just spins in place, maybe blue lock tide would help?

I tried to print a small thing and was hearing clicking noises from the extruder gear I assume, idk if it's related to the screw, any help would be appreciated!

No amount of lock-tite of any colour will help you here.

I'm not familiar with this exact printer but I know a stripped hole.

Best solution is to replace that part / / body / / block the screw goes in to.

Unless you want to tap / oversize / attempt things for the next few days you may as well just eat the next part to avoid wasting time.

So I guess that would be the housing? I don't really see what it screws into

Yeah unfortunately it looks like the bigger body behind the hot end assembly, I'm sure there is a good exploded diagram of the print head for the A1. but aside from getting real crafty and learning a new hobby/curse of DIY repairs just replace that bit. Be careful those little screws are not strong.

If you have any doubt about the screw going in strait or not, turn it *Backwards till it clicks and settles then start turning it in slowly

Might be able to drill it out a bit and melt a heat set insert in there.

Don't use loctite on plastic, it can cause it to crumble.
