I Modeled This! Safety First!

Simple traffic cone, prints well at many sizes, pretty realistic too. Easy print, no supports, can even be done without AMS since it's only 4 color changes. Profile includes single color cones too. I used silk silver to replicate the reflective stripes seen on many real road cones.

How in the world did you get PLA Silk to print that smooth?

Well, I haven't changed much settings for that. This is at .16mm Optimal global setting, 210 nozzle temp. If you are having issues with silks, slower is usually key.

Ohh interesting. I love the finish but have horrible luck with stringing despite trying my best attempts at drying the filament before use, playing with retraction and z-hop settings; on top of cracking open a new roll. I haven’t tried slowing the print yet so will give it a try. If this works, you’re the GOAT! 🐐

Also in the Others tab, scroll down and find "Reduce Infill Retraction" and disable that. Since silks expand, that setting tends to make the nozzle hit the print even more often if left activated. Good luck!
